Full & Half Day Preschool
At Calvary Child Development Center, we approach all programs with the goal of supporting the highest level of your child’s all-around growth and development within a loving Christian environment.
For ages 2–4, we offer Half Day and Full Day Preschool options utilizing a structured schedule with our rich, integrated curriculum and enrichment classes.
Classrooms are equipped with age-appropriate materials and toys divided into centers such as manipulatives, blocks, musical toys, housekeeping, dramatic play, science, and books. Time outside on the playground (weather permitting) or in the gym is part of the daily schedule to encourage physical development and motor skills.

As every parent knows, two-year-olds are ready to assert their independence! At CCDC, we offer a challenging program to stimulate each child’s curiosity and eagerness to learn.
For our 2s, we purposefully blend academic enrichment and free-play activities to develop the whole child. Our curriculum explores a wide variety of topics and encourages observation, imitation, exploration, and hands-on experiences using all five senses. Read more about our integrated curriculum.
2s Program Options

All programs utilize a structured schedule and our rich integrated curriculum, including our enrichment classes.- Our Half Day Preschool offers a rich learning environment and a regular schedule within a half-day framework.
- Our Full Day Preschool offers the same educational program balanced within a full-day schedule (including lunch, nap time, and extended afternoon activities).
Activities & Classroom Resources
A typical week for a two-year-old at CCDC will include the following:
- Reading/listening to books

Daily Highlights
Most days begin with circle time, focusing on cognitive development and including songs, puzzles, finger puppets, games, or reading a story. The month, day of the week, pledge to the flag, and prayer are included in this segment — and maybe even an experiment or two!
After circle time, the day continues with visits to enrichment classes. Science, Bible & Worship, Spanish, and Fun & Fitness teachers provide instruction through activities tcorrespondingto the three-year-old curriculum. In addition, each class will go to the playground, have lunch or a snack, and spend time in their classroom learning centers.

4s Preschool
Full & Half Day OptionsFours are getting ready! In our 4s program, we provide exposure to the skills that are foundational to success in kindergarten and elementary school. Our goal is to make learning fun!
We incorporate reading readiness, language development, vocabulary, thinking and listening skills, social and emotional frameworks, phonics, math readiness, and printing readiness. Children learn to work on tasks independently in a busy classroom setting, a key indicator for kindergarten readiness. Read more about our integrated curriculum.
Our Bible curriculum lays the foundation for a godly character and lifestyle through practical development and application of Christ-like character traits such as love, faith, kindness, giving, thankfulness, honesty, wisdom, sharing, obedience, patience, fairness, forgiveness, joy, confidence, and loyalty.
Three times a year, we provide individual assessments — identifying strengths and areas of need. We communicate with parents about their child’s readiness for TK or kindergarten the following year. Assessment areas include fine motor skills, emotional and social skills, math concepts, language, and work habits.
