    Fall activities start in September
    A new season of worship & community
    You're invited!

    Summer is winding down and kids are getting ready to head back to school!

    At Calvary, we're looking forward to a new season of Christ-centered worship, ministry activities and opportunities to serve as we grow in our faith, deepen our knowledge of God's Word, and share the Gospel!


    Worship with us on Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM! Our children's activities, middle and high school life groups, and adult life groups continue year-round for all ages after the Sunday morning worship service.

    • On Sunday, Pastor Munro preaches from God's Word. On Sunday mornings we will continue our study in Romans and on Sunday evenings, we will begin a new series on The Life of David.
    • Regular weekly Sunday evening services resume on Sunday, September 9 at 6:00 PM. 

    Wednesday evening activities resume on September 12, including:

    Remember, all activities run 6:30–8:00 PM after dinner, so it's easy to participate as a family! 

    Our College & Young Adults continue on "The Journey" on Tuesday nights at 7:30 PM, along with bi-weekly small groups and monthly activities! 

    Worship Ministry is preparing for a new season, welcoming new members in our choirs, orchestra, and tech team. Our children's and student worship choirs start back with rehearsals on Sunday evenings beginning September 9. 

    Weekly Bible studies and support classes resume:

    Those interested in membership at Calvary can attend the membership course taught by Pastor Munro on Wednesday evenings (September 12 – October 17) or on Saturdays, September 29 and October 6. 

    And our ongoing, year-round focus on serving and missions continues, with a full range of volunteer opportunities within the ministries at Calvary or our local ministry partnerships.

    Weekly Bible Studies
    Groups for men & women begin Sept. 4
    Including a special study for moms

    Join us for our weekly Bible studies! Check out our different topics -- with morning and evening options for both women and men, including an AM study just for moms!

    Our women's studies meet Tuesday mornings (9:30 AM–Noon) and evenings (7–9 PM), starting Tuesday, September 4. New topics include:

    • MOMS: Making our Mothering Significant
    • Gripped by the Greatness of God
    • Why Cope When You Can Conquer
    • Relying on the Holy Spirit
    • A Life Beyond Amazing
    • I'm Stuck But I Want to Be Free
    • Radiant Women: Influence in the Darkness

    Our men's studies meet Monday and Tuesday mornings (6:30–7:30 AM) and Tuesday evenings (7–8:30 PM), beginning Monday, September 10. Topics include:

    • Hebrews: Focusing on Jesus
    • Ephesians: God's Eternal Purpose
    • Matthew: The Life and Teaching of Jesus
    • 1 Corinthians: God's Call for Our lives

    Children’s Worship Choirs
    Sundays, 6–7:15 PM, begin Sept 9
    Ages 4–5th grade

    For kids ages 4 through 5th grade, the joy and energy of participating in Children's Worship Choirs is not to be missed! Choirs meet on Sunday evenings during the school year, September 9 through May 19. Kids sing praise and worship music and participate in fun games and activities with their friends. They learn basic music theory and grow to love the Lord through worshiping Him. Children share their music in worship services and events throughout the year. Please register your child below:

    Wee Praisers: Ages 4 – Kindergarten
    Sundays, 6:00–7:15 PM, LL1 (Lower Level 1, next to the Choir Room)
    Children go down RIGHT side sanctuary stairs (organ side)

    Joyful Praise Children’s Choir: Grades 1–5
    Sundays, 6:00–7:15 PM, Choir Room
    Children go down LEFT side sanctuary stairs (piano side)


    Children are dismissed from Sunday evening service at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary for rehearsal. Parents pick up children from their assigned rooms immediately after the service.

    Wednesday Evenings
    Dinner, worship & activities for everyone
    September 12 – November 14

    Have you checked out our Wednesday evening activities?  There's something for everyone as we come together in the middle of the week to enjoy community, worship and study together.

    School Pictures
    Week of September 17–21 and September 24–28. 

    "SMILE!!!" Our official school photographer & crew will be on site for two weeks to capture sweet pictures of the CCDC children. Your child's teacher will share specific details about your child's class time. Be on the lookout for more info coming home soon.

    Family Transitions Learning Series

    Family Transitions: Equipping Parents of 1st Graders

    Sunday, September 23

    Family Transitions is Calvary's series of learning sessions designed to support parents as you disciple your children through different stages in life, offering practical insight with a biblical foundation.

    At this young stage, children are already beginning to read! Now is the perfect time for parents to begin teaching basic Bible skills. The Parenting Transitions class will help equip parents to lead their children to love God's Word, read it, and understand it. 

    Our goal is to encourage you in your God-given assignment as a parent. Please join Pastor Rodney Navey and Su Trull, Director of Children's Ministry, in Room 200.

    No registration required.

    Family & Friends Day

    Join us for worship, lunch & fun!

    Sunday, October 7

    Join us as the Calvary community comes together for worship and fun together! Guests, members, attenders, CDC and CHAMP families, neighbors from near and far, and anyone else you can think of — you're invited!

    Worship with us at 9:45 AM as Pastor Munro shares a special message about the Gospel of Christ, "All Things for Good." Then stay for lunch and an afternoon of fun for all ages!

    From 11:30 AM–3:00 PM, we'll gather at the CHAMP fields for lunch on the grill and activities! Feel free to come casual or bring a change of clothes along with a lawn chair or picnic blanket. Restrooms and water are available at the CHAMP Pavilion.

    It's FREE — so bring the whole family and be sure to invite your friends and neighbors!

    Be sure to check out the 24' Rock Climbing Wall, Extreme Air Bungee Trampoline, Meltdown, Obstacle Course, Giant Dual Accelerator Slide, Double Shot Basketball, Castle Moon Bounce, Gaga Ball, and more!

    Organized sports are scheduled:
