CCDC Update Regarding Coronavirus
Updated March 25, 2020
As you know, Mecklenburg County officials have issued a three-week stay-at-home order in an attempt to combat the spread of COVID-19. In order to comply with governing officials and keep our staff and children safe, the Calvary Child Development Center will remain closed through at least April 17. This includes all Daycare and Preschool classes.
During this time of closure, we will not be billing parents for tuition. We will be issuing credits to accounts moving forward for the period of time the center was closed for two weeks in March. Our plan is to continue to pay our CCDC staff. Given that, we kindly ask that you consider continuing to pay tuition if you are able or make a voluntary, tax-deductible donation to Calvary to help maintain our ability to pay your child’s teachers.
Tuition payments can be made through Headmaster Online, as usual. Any donations can be made online at calvarychurch.com/giving or by mail to Calvary Child Development Center at 5801 Pineville-Matthews Rd Charlotte, NC 28226.
Our worship services and ministry activities at Calvary have also been suspended during this time, but we invite you and your family to worship with us on Sundays at 9:45 AM via Livestream or at the Calvary Facebook page.
As updates are available, we will contact you by email or the Remind text app.
Scriptures encourage us to trust our great God in times of crisis and confusion. “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Let’s continue to pray for the Lord’s protection, particularly on our health care workers, and for the Lord’s healing on those directly impacted by the virus.
